Overview

This conference is jointly provided by the University of Colorado College of Nursing Office of Continuing Nursing Education and the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Office of Continuing Education. This symposium focuses on updated diagnoses and treatments of infectious diseases. It includes didactic presentations with audience participation, small group lectures and case presentations. The goal of the course is to have participants leave with a skill set that will improve their clinical practice related to infectious diseases.

Topics include:

COVID-19: Race/Ethnicity and Infection Outcomes
C. difficile Treatment Updates
Updated antibiotic treatment duration recommendations in children and adults
Pneumococcal vaccine updates

The conference was developed with the purpose to exchange knowledge and share experiences that will enable attendees to improve the care of Veterans, Servicemembers and their families and caregivers.
