Clinical/Research Interest:

Practice site: University of Colorado Denver, Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes (BDC) and University Endocrine Division. The BDC is one of the leading centers in the United States for the treatment of type 1 diabetes. The Adult Clinic oversees the care for over 2000 patients with diabetes. In addition to patient care activities the BDC is recognized nationally for their efforts in clinical research. The University Endocrine Clinic focuses on a team clinic model for providing care to patients with diabetes. Both sites have extensive programs developed in diabetes training/education.

Clinical research and areas of interest: Research areas of interest include experimental and clinical therapeutics, implementation of technology into diabetes management, pharmaceutical care outcomes in diabetes care and the impact of mental health treatment in patients with diabetes.
