Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency

Our post graduate year two (PGY2) infectious diseases pharmacy residency is an ASHP-accredited program that was re-established in 2012. It has a strong emphasis in the care of patients with a variety of infectious diseases as well as academic pharmacy practice including teaching and research.

Our program is operated on the state-of-the-art University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The campus, a complete complement of educational and clinical enterprises, is a major integrated academic health sciences center that includes Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Dental Medicine.

The longitudinal practice site is the University of Colorado Hospital, with learning experiences for this residency including both the inpatient areas as well as the outpatient infectious diseases clinics. Additional sites for this program are at affiliated hospitals within the Denver metro area.
