Established in 1996, our post graduate year two (PGY2) critical care pharmacy residency is an ASHP-accredited program that trains residents to care for critically ill patients. We also have a strong emphasis in academic pharmacy practice, including teaching and research.
Our program is operated on the state-of-the-art University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The campus, a complete complement of educational and clinical enterprises, is a major integrated academic health sciences center that includes Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Physical Therapy and Dental Medicine.
The longitudinal practice site is the University of Colorado Hospital, with additional sites at affiliated hospitals within the Denver metro area.
Applications are due via ASHP’s Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) no later than January 1st, 2026.

I’ll be working closely with Ty and Rob as part of the critical care faculty team, with a practice site in the medical ICU at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Most recently I was practicing as a clinical pharmacist in the medical ICU at the University of North Carolina Medical Center since 2012, where I served as program director for the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency program and held an adjunct associate faculty position at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. I’ve lived on the East coast my entire life, but I’m excited to make the move West to work with new colleagues and explore new challenges!
