Shannon Dicken, PharmD
Shannon completed her undergraduate and PharmD degree studies at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she was heavily involved in Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity,
clinical research in opioid prescribing strategies, and her community pharmacy internship with Medicap Pharmacy. After pharmacy school graduation, she completed a PGY-1 Community-Based residency program with Froedtert & the Medical College of
Wisconsin and completed a robust teaching certificate program with academic educator distinction. During her residency, she was a key contributor to the hospital’s transitions of care and discharge medication program and helped develop an internal
leadership training program curriculum to support leadership succession planning. As the post-doctoral academic fellow, she will be practicing at an FQHC, teaching across pharmacy and interprofessional courses, and working on scholarship projects
in the college. In her off-time, she enjoys spending time hiking, traveling, and baking new recipes.
