Bio:
Dr. Trujillo teaches in the Entry Level and the Distance Degree PharmD programs. Her primary area is diabetes. She is a course director of Pharmacotherapy 3 (PHRD 6095) and Advanced Diabetes Management (PHRD 7828). She serves as a faculty advisor for the Honor's Program Research Project. Dr. Trujillo also precepts 4th year APPE students (diabetes elective or academic elective) and PGY2 residents (diabetes elective).
Clinical/Research Interests:Dr. Trujillo practices at The University of Colorado Center for Adult Diabetes Care and Research. The center's inter-professional team provides diabetes management and education to patients with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Clinical research areas of interest include inpatient and outpatient diabetes management and education. Dr. Trujillo also engages in educational research and the scholarship of teaching and learning, curricular development and assessment.
