Andrea Segerstrom, PharmD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is also an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist at the Seniors Clinic at the University of Colorado Hospital.
In her clinical practice, Dr. Segerstrom provides collaborative drug therapy management (CDTM), responds to pharmacotherapy consultations, and conducts Medicare Annual Wellness and Transitions of Care visits. She is passionate about caring for patients in underserved communities, addressing social determinants of health, and precepting the next generation of pharmacists.
Dr. Segerstrom earned her PharmD from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, where she also completed a PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency. She went on to complete a PGY2 residency in Ambulatory Care with Intermountain Health in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Within CU Anschutz Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dr. Segerstrom precepts students in the clinic, contributes to case facilitation, and serves as a Faculty Advisor for Phi Lambda Sigma.
