April Griffin BS, MA

I am a molecular biologist with a background in cell biology, microbiology, virology, and epigenetics. I did my undergraduate and graduate training in Boston, at Northeastern and Harvard, respectively. I’ve worked in biotech, academic research, and for the government, and my favorite place of all is the Anschutz research campus. My favorite topic to talk about is blocking viral entry and infection. I am joining Dr. Simberg’s team part-time to help with molecular biology and protein expression for a few projects. I am a Colorado native, have two perfect children, live by jazz, make washable N95 masks and soap, and play alto flute in my spare time.
