Kristina Brooks PharmD

Assistant Professor
  • Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences

My research is focused on clinical pharmacology, drug disposition and drug response in vivo, along with translational approaches to bring an understanding of disease treatment from the bench to the bedside. I have performed research across multiple therapeutic areas, with a primary focus in the treatment and prevention of HIV and related co-infections, notably tuberculosis (TB). The central theme to my work is to inform and optimize safe and effective medication use in persons with HIV, especially children and pregnant women.
